The arrival day in Leh holds significant importance, as we strongly advise you to prioritize resting during the day to acclimate to the high altitude you've just entered. This precautionary measure will help ensure a smooth and symptom-free experience for the rest of your tour, preventing the onset of severe AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) symptoms. Our team will be there to greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Following a good sleep during the day, you can explore the nearby attractions, such as the Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, a historic palace complex dating back 450 years. Additionally, you have the opportunity to wander through the local market, savoring regional cuisine, shopping for local handicrafts, and admiring the colorful prayer flags.
On the second day of the tour, your itinerary leads you to explore the Sham Valley region near Leh. Your initial stop is approximately 30 kilometers from Leh city at the Sangam point, where you'll encounter the striking contrast between the cold and vividly colored waters of the Zanskar and Indus rivers. This location is also known for high-altitude river rafting, offering adventurous opportunities. For those seeking even more excitement, Tsogtsi village, located about 7 kilometers from Sangam point, provides an option for bungee jumping. After enjoying some leisure time in this picturesque setting, you'll head back towards Leh. Along the return journey, your first stop is at Magnetic Hill, where you can witness the intriguing natural phenomenon of objects appearing to defy gravity. Following this, you'll make a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib for a moment of reflection and prayer. Finally, your day concludes with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the valor and sacrifices made in the nation's wars. After this eventful day, you'll return to your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and ensure you get a restful night's sleep.
Nubra Valley, nestled in the high reaches of the Himalayas, is a breathtaking oasis of green scenic beauty in an otherwise cold and barren region. Its unparalleled beauty provides a refreshing contrast to the high-altitude, harsh environment. As you depart from Leh and make your way towards the first high pass of the tour, Khardung La, you'll immediately feel the chill in the air. Make a brief stop at Khardung La to capture the moment and then descend. Along the route, be prepared to witness the raw, ever-shifting beauty of the sand dunes, a unique sight in this landscape. While en route, make a visit to the Diskit monastery and take some time to relax and enjoy the serene valley. Here, you have the opportunity to partake in activities like Bactrian camel rides, ATV rides, and various adventure sports. Upon arriving at your campsite, check in and take the evening to unwind after a busy yet thrilling day. Enjoy a satisfying meal and savor a peaceful night's stay in the campsite, surrounded by the valley's natural beauty.
This day promises to be an exhilarating experience as your vehicle transports you to Turtuk, the last Indian village along the Line of Control (LOC), and offers a glimpse of the border at Thang. Situated in the Baltistan region in the northernmost part of the Himalayas, Turtuk is among the final villages on the Indian side of the LOC and is part of the five small villages from the Baltistan region that fall within Indian territory. Located approximately 205 kilometers from Leh, you'll continue your journey from Nubra Valley to reach this unique destination. Turtuk, inhabited by the Balti people, is renowned for its fruit cultivation, particularly apricots. Staying in homestays and small guesthouses here provides tourists with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich Balti culture. A day trip to Turtuk is truly a worthwhile endeavor, allowing you to explore this remote and culturally rich corner of India.
The fifth day of your journey could very well be the most thrilling one, as you transition from the lush pastures of Nubra to the serene blue waters of Pangong. The route from Nubra to Pangong might present some challenges, including water stream crossings, so it's advisable to start your day early to avoid such obstacles. Along this route, you'll be driving alongside the rushing Shyok River. Two places to consider for brief stops are Durbuk and Tangste, where you can take a moment to rest before the breathtaking beauty of Pangong Lake leaves you spellbound. As you approach the lake, you'll catch your first glimpse of it, undoubtedly quickening your pulse with excitement. Upon reaching the shores of Pangong Lake, settle into your camps and relish the rest of the day by capturing stunning photographs and lounging along the lake's edge. Observe how the water's color shifts with the passing hours. In the evening, you might even have the chance to admire the galaxy in the dark night sky. After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, rest well and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in your comfortable camps by the lake.
This day signifies the start of your journey back and serves as the penultimate day of your tour. Begin your day by heading back to Leh, retracing the same road you took when traveling from Nubra to Pangong. However, once you reach Durbuk, take a different route by turning towards another challenging high pass, Chang La. Pause for a brief break at Chang La and allow the contrasting landscape of black and white to captivate your senses before continuing downhill toward Karu. Upon reaching Karu, take another break and relax for a while. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try paragliding at Sakti village, near Karu. While en route from Karu to Leh, make sure to visit the Thiksey and Shey monasteries and the Rancho School, made famous by the movie "3 Idiots." You'll arrive back at your Leh hotel by early evening, giving you some free time to enjoy the evening at your leisure. After your meal, take a moment to reflect on the wonderful memories created during the past five days in Leh, as your departure is scheduled for the following day.
Today marks the day when we bid farewell and part ways until we meet again next time. Please check out of your hotel, as we've made arrangements to take you to Leh airport. Our journey concludes here, leaving us with the wonderful memories and friendships forged during our time together. Goodbye for now, and we look forward to the day we can reunite for new adventures. Safe travels!

A. The best time to accomplish a bike trip to Leh Ladakh is from June to September. These so because, both the routes, i.e. Srinagar via Kargil and Manali via Rohtang Pass are open during these months, owing to less snow and clear weather.

A. Royal Enfield is the best or the most popular bike for taking up road trip to Leh Ladakh. However, any other 150cc+ is also enough for Leh Ladakh bike tour.

A. Yes. Besides Royal Enfield, you have other options available such as Bajaj Avenger, Bajaj Pulsar 150cc, and Yamaha FZ. We can also provide you Harley Davidson bike on additional cost. However, the availability of the bike and cost of renting it, is entirely depended upon the demand for a particular make. Hence, we welcome the idea of riding your own bike, if you have a suitable one.

A. While we keep adding new bikes to our fleet every year, you will find that all our bikes are handed over to the riders in well serviced, perfect conditions, so as to prevent hassles during the trip.

A. Yes, a backup vehicle is always provided by us with road trips to Leh Ladakh. As the name suggests, this is a backup vehicle for breakdowns and emergency situations. A. It’s indeed a good thing that you have your own suitable bike for the trip. Since, you are equipped on riding it and understand it better than us, this is always the best option. However, under sceptical situations of not riding on your own bike, you can rent it out from us at the very last moment also. However, this last minute booking comes with its own disadvantages. Priority will always be given to clients who have pre-booked the bike with us. Also, in renting out bikes, you get fewer options to choose from and you may not be entirely comfortable riding it as compared to your own bike. Also, depending upon the demand for the bikes, charges may hike. So, as the best option, ride your own bike or else pre-book with us for renting it out.
