Arrival: Your arrival in Leh is a crucial start, and we strongly recommend prioritizing rest to acclimate to the high altitude. This precautionary step ensures a smooth, symptom-free experience for the rest of your tour, guarding against severe AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) symptoms. Our team will be at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After a good day's sleep, explore nearby attractions like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local market, immersing yourself in regional cuisine, shopping for local handicrafts, and admiring colorful prayer flags.
Night Stay: Return to the hotel for a cozy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Sham Valley Sightseeing
Morning Drive: After breakfast, embark on exploring the Sham Valley region near Leh. Your first stop, approximately 30 kilometers from Leh city, is the Sangam point, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet, offering a striking contrast.
